Division of Facilities Planning (DFP)

The Division of Facilities Planning (DFP) coordinates and manages all planning related to NIH owned and leased facilities on all campuses. Ricardo Herring is the Director, 301-402-2048.

Areas of responsibility include:

 

Facilities Planning and Programming Branch – (FPPB)
Provides short- and long-range master planning for all NIH-controlled campuses and facilities, including traffic planning.
Manages space and census data. Manages and updates space floor plan drawings in ARCHIBUS for NIH facilities, includes providing room numbers.  
Space Planning and Management Branch (SPMB)
Conducts program space planning coordination across all NIH Institutes, Centers and Offices. Provides building numbering.

Site Infrastructure Planning Branch – (SIPB)
Provides short- and long-range utility master planning for all NIH-controlled campuses and facilities.
