Welcome to the Division of Technical Resources Training

Division of Technical Resources (DTR) is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).  DTR complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard, which is recognized internationally as a standard of excellence in instructional practices. As a result of this accreditation, DTR is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.  DTR is focused on the design, construction, maintenance and operation of complex biomedical research facilities.  The goal of DTR is to provide engineers, architects, project officers and associated professionals with current knowledge to assist them in their mission of providing state-of-the-art facilities for the NIH community.

Technical Trainings are IACET certified courses taught by professional trainers and industry experts.  The duration of most Technical Trainings range between 2 or more hours and/or multiple days. They are awarded professional development hours (PDHs) for attendance or continuing education units (CEUs) upon completion of an assessment. Technical Training topics include updates of national code and standards, and NIH policies and procedures.

Technical Presentations are offered by consultants, vendors and industry experts.  Technical Presentations are educational in nature, and introduce attendees to new products, methods and technologies applicable to facility design, construction, operations and maintenance. The duration of most Technical Presentations is between 1 and 1 ½ hours.

We offer a wide range of Technical Presentations and IACET Technical Training Opportunities.
